Flooding can be described as having more water than we would expect in areas that are normally dry.

Who are these maps for?

These maps are created with the general public in mind. They can be used by community members, municipalities, emergency responders and anyone curious to learn more about flooding.

Will these maps impact my property value?

These maps are produced for visualization purposes only and are not to be used for insurance and regulatory purposes.

Where do these maps come from?

These visualization outputs are created with data collected by the Municipal Flood Line Mapping (MFLM) project. We do not own or collect the data used to create the visualizations.

Does the 100-year flood occur every 100 years?

No. The 1 in 100-year flood represents a flood that has a 1% chance of happening in any given year.
